Art Teacher – Creative Teaching Opportunity at an Ely Secondary School
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and imaginative Art Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Ely. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative practitioner who can inspire students to experiment, develop their artistic identity and build confidence through creative education.
The successful candidate will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering a varied and engaging curriculum that introduces students to a range of materials, techniques, artists and creative processes.
The school is keen to appoint a teacher who can combine strong subject knowledge with an ability to create an exciting classroom environment where students are encouraged to take creative risks and develop their own ideas.

Experience and Qualifications
Art Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge across Art and related creative disciplines.
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons across a range of artistic techniques and media.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to encourage creativity, experimentation and independent thinking.
Experience differentiating lessons for students with different abilities.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of student work and presentation.
Enthusiasm for extracurricular Art and wider creative activities.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
