Design & Technology Teacher – Creative Teaching Role in Hertford
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Hertford. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative teacher who enjoys practical education and wants to help students develop their technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and confidence.
The successful candidate will deliver Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, creating lessons that combine theoretical understanding with practical application. You will encourage students to design, make, test and evaluate their work while developing an appreciation of how design and technology influence the world around them.

Experience and Qualifications
Design & Technology Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge across Design & Technology and practical processes.
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.
Experience delivering practical, project-based learning.
Ability to develop students' creativity, technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Good understanding of practical health and safety procedures.
Ability to differentiate lessons for students with different levels of experience and attainment.
Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
