Economics Teacher – Excellent Sixth Form Opportunity in Luton
We are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and academically focused Economics Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Economics and enjoys helping students understand how economic principles influence businesses, individuals and wider society.
The successful candidate will teach Economics at KS4 and KS5, depending on experience, and will play an important role in preparing students for examinations and their future academic pathways.
This role would suit an experienced Economics Teacher, although applications from ECTs and suitably qualified teachers with strong subject knowledge will also be considered.

Experience and Qualifications
Economics Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.
Strong subject knowledge across the Economics curriculum.
Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Economics is desirable.
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.
Ability to develop students' analytical, quantitative and evaluative skills.
Strong understanding of examination requirements and assessment.
Ability to make Economics relevant through current affairs and real-world examples.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
