Music Teacher – Inspire Young Musicians at a Stevenage Secondary School
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Stevenage. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can share their passion for music and encourage students of all abilities to develop their confidence, creativity and musical understanding.
The successful applicant will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 and will contribute to a department that values both academic study and practical performance. The role would suit a teacher who enjoys bringing music to life through a combination of performance, composition, listening and theoretical work.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the wider musical life of the school through concerts, ensembles, performances and extracurricular activities.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Music Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Music.
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.
Ability to teach a range of musical styles and develop students' performance skills.
Confidence in delivering engaging practical and classroom-based lessons.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for encouraging participation from students of all abilities.
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular music activities and performances.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
