Are you an enthusiastic historian who can make the past meaningful through storytelling, source analysis and practical learning?

A heritage-focused school in Biggleswade is seeking a part-time History Teacher to join its humanities department. The successful candidate will teach a broad curriculum and contribute to educational visits and local history projects.

The Role

  • History Teaching: Deliver KS3, GCSE and selected A-Level lessons.

  • Source Analysis: Develop students’ ability to interpret evidence and historical accounts.

  • Local History: Support projects exploring the history of Bedfordshire and the surrounding area.

  • Examination Preparation: Teach essay writing, source questions and historical interpretations.
