The Role

• RE Delivery: Teach Religious Education across KS3 and GCSE.

• Ethical Debate: Explore themes including justice, equality, morality and human rights.

• Religious Literacy: Develop students’ understanding of major world religions.

• Examination Preparation: Support students with evaluative and extended writing.

• Enrichment: Contribute to assemblies, debates and cultural learning activities.

The Candidate

• Relevant Degree: A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related subject.

• Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of religious and non-religious worldviews.

• Discussion Skills: Ability to lead balanced and respectful debate.

• Teaching Ability: Clear explanations and effective differentiation.
