Are you a scholarly historian who can inspire students through the study of political power, ancient societies and the development of civilisation?

A selective sixth form in Sudbury is seeking a History and Classical Civilisation Teacher to join its academically focused humanities team. The school encourages students to engage critically with historical evidence and prepare confidently for university study.

The Role

  • Senior Humanities Teaching: Deliver GCSE and A-Level History, with Classical Civilisation where appropriate.

  • Historical Interpretation: Develop students’ understanding of primary sources and historiography.
