A dynamic and modern secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an engaging Business Teacher to join its expanding Business and Enterprise department. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering key business concepts across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, covering both GCSE Business Studies and vocational BTEC/A-Level pathways.
The role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator who can bring real-world enterprise, marketing, and financial principles into the classroom. You will work within a supportive faculty focused on developing students' critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Teaching: Deliver dynamic Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5, integrating practical case studies and digital tools into the curriculum.
Student Progress: Prepare students for national examinations and vocational coursework assessments, offering targeted support to ensure strong outcomes.
Departmental Support: Help organize enterprise challenges, host guest speakers from local business sectors, and contribute to continuous curriculum improvement.
Qualifications: Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Economics alongside QTS or PGCE.
Skills: Strong subject expertise across finance, operations, and marketing, paired with effective classroom management.
