You will teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4, helping students develop an understanding of how businesses operate and how economic, social and financial factors influence decision-making.
The role will involve teaching core areas of the GCSE curriculum, including business ownership, marketing, finance, operations, human resources and external influences. You should be able to use contemporary examples to help students understand how the theory they learn applies to actual businesses.
Strong communication skills will be important, as the successful teacher will need to explain business terminology and concepts clearly while encouraging students to analyse information and justify their conclusions.
There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider careers and enterprise activities, helping students understand the relationship between Business Studies and future education and employment.

Business Studies or related Degree
QTS or recognised teaching qualification
