You will teach Mathematics to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering well-structured lessons that develop both mathematical understanding and problem-solving ability.
The department is looking for a teacher who can make Mathematics accessible and engaging, while maintaining appropriate academic challenge. You will be expected to plan lessons carefully, assess student progress and adapt your teaching where necessary to support pupils who require additional help as well as those working towards the highest grades.
The successful candidate will take an active role within the Maths Department, contributing to departmental planning and sharing effective teaching approaches with colleagues. There may also be opportunities to support intervention sessions and extracurricular mathematical activities.

The salary for this Mathematics Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
