Role: School Caretaker / Facilities Professional
Location: Dorset (Busy Secondary School)
Contract: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role
Working closely with the wider school community, you will oversee day-to-day site operations and act as a crucial first responder for site security and maintenance.
Comprehensive Site Oversight: Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify and rectify potential hazards or maintenance needs before the school day commences.
System Management: Manage the school’s Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal energy efficiency and consistent climate control.
Emergency Coordination: Act as the first responder to site emergencies, including leakages, power outages, or security breaches.
Community Engagement: Liaise with staff, students, and parents with a professional and helpful demeanour to support the wider school ethos.
