An outstanding secondary school in Lincoln is seeking a Geography Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. The school offers a stimulating academic environment and is looking for a teacher who can develop students' understanding of both physical and human Geography. The position is available from January.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.

  • Prepare students for GCSE Geography.

  • Deliver engaging lessons incorporating geographical enquiry and fieldwork.

  • Assess and monitor student progress.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS and a relevant Geography degree.

  • Have strong GCSE subject knowledge.

  • Be an engaging and confident teacher.

  • Have excellent behaviour management skills.

  • Be committed to achieving high standards.
