History Teacher – Ambitious School | Worcester

An ambitious secondary school in Worcester is seeking a History Teacher to join its Humanities team. The school is committed to developing students' knowledge, confidence and analytical skills and is looking for a teacher who can bring History to life in the classroom. The position is available from October.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Use assessment to monitor and improve progress.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS and a History-related degree.

  • Have excellent subject knowledge.

  • Be confident teaching GCSE History.

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management.

  • Have high expectations of student achievement.
