Drama Teacher – Creative Arts Department | Stoke-on-Trent

A secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a creative Drama Teacher to join its Performing Arts team. The school is keen to appoint a teacher who can inspire students through practical performance and help develop confidence, creativity and communication skills. The position is available from November.

The Role

  • Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Support GCSE Drama examination preparation.

  • Contribute to school productions and performances.

  • Develop students' confidence and performance skills.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS or an appropriate teaching qualification.

  • Have a Drama or Performing Arts background.

  • Be confident delivering practical lessons.

  • Have strong organisation and classroom management skills.

  • Be passionate about creative education.

The School

The school values creativity and provides students with opportunities to participate in Performing Arts beyond the classroom. The successful teacher will join a collaborative department and have scope to contribute to productions and extracurricular activities.
