Health & Social Care Teacher – Sixth Form College | Birmingham

A successful sixth form college in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join its team. The college has a strong vocational provision and is committed to preparing students for university, apprenticeships and employment. The role would suit an experienced teacher or lecturer with strong subject knowledge and is available from ASAP.

The Role

  • Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5.

  • Deliver engaging vocational and academic lessons.

  • Support students with coursework and examination preparation.

  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have a relevant teaching qualification or substantial teaching experience.

  • Possess strong Health & Social Care subject knowledge.

  • Have experience teaching post-16 students.

  • Be organised and confident in supporting coursework.

  • Be committed to achieving strong student outcomes.
