PE Teacher – Thriving Secondary School | Leicester

A thriving secondary school in Leicester is looking to appoint a passionate PE Teacher to join its established Physical Education department. The school has a strong sporting culture and encourages students of all abilities to participate in physical activity. The successful candidate will join the school from October.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical and theory-based lessons.

  • Support examination groups where appropriate.

  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and competitions.

  • Encourage students to develop confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS and a relevant PE or Sports degree.

  • Have strong practical PE knowledge.

  • Be confident managing groups across a range of abilities.

  • Be willing to contribute to extracurricular sport.

  • Have a genuine passion for Physical Education.

The School

The school has a positive sporting culture and offers students a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. The PE department is collaborative and supportive, with staff encouraged to contribute to the wider sporting life of the school.
