A successful academy in Wolverhampton is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join its Computing department. The school is investing heavily in developing students' digital skills and is looking for a teacher who can make Computer Science accessible, engaging and relevant. The role is available on an ASAP basis.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science.

  • Develop students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Contribute to the continued development of the Computing curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS with a relevant Computer Science or Computing qualification.

  • Have strong knowledge of the secondary Computer Science curriculum.

  • Be confident delivering practical programming activities.

  • Have excellent classroom management skills.

  • Be enthusiastic about developing students' interest in technology.
