Teacher of French & Spanish – High-Achieving Academy | Birmingham

A high-achieving academy in Birmingham is looking to welcome an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to its established Languages department. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about languages and enjoys encouraging students to become confident communicators. The role is available from January and would suit a teacher able to teach French and/or Spanish.

The Role

  • Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver creative and engaging language lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, writing and listening.

  • Contribute to departmental resources, enrichment and language activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have strong French and/or Spanish subject knowledge.

  • Experience teaching within a secondary school is desirable.

  • Be organised, enthusiastic and committed to student progress.

  • Have excellent classroom management skills.
