We are currently working on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Peterborough who are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching available for the right candidate depending on experience and specialism.

The Art department at this school has built a strong reputation for nurturing creativity and helping students achieve outstanding results year on year. The department benefits from spacious, well-equipped studios, a dedicated kiln room, and a generous budget for materials and resources. You will be joining a small, close-knit team led by an experienced and encouraging Head of Department who is committed to supporting staff development and fostering a collaborative working environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Art Teacher able to confidently deliver the curriculum at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

• A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, School Direct, or equivalent)

• Right to work within the UK

• Applications welcomed from ECTs, experienced practitioners, and teachers trained overseas holding a formal teaching qualification
