A high-achieving secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join its dedicated Physical Education department. The Role

• Teach engaging and challenging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that cater for a wide range of abilities.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate feedback to support development.

• Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity and sport.

• Contribute to the wider extracurricular sporting programme where appropriate.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department and across the wider school.

• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a PE Teacher who is:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant PE teaching experience.

• Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4.

• Passionate about sport, physical education and student development.

• Able to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

• A strong classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management skills.

• Committed to supporting students both academically and personally.

• Keen to contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
