A coastal secondary school in Great Yarmouth is seeking a PE Teacher for a temporary full-time role. The school is keen to appoint a practitioner who can deliver energetic lessons and promote broad participation in physical activity.
The Role
Practical PE: Teach a wide range of sports across KS3 and KS4.
Theory Lessons: Deliver GCSE PE content where required.
Participation: Encourage students of all abilities to take part.
Fixtures: Support inter-school competitions and sporting events.
Wellbeing: Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and resilience.
The Candidate
Qualification: A degree in PE, Sports Science or a related subject.
Sporting Knowledge: Strong practical knowledge across several activities.
Classroom Management: Ability to maintain safe and purposeful lessons.
Energy: An enthusiastic and motivating approach.
Reliability: Commitment to the temporary assignment and wider school duties.
