Are you a creative and inspirational Drama teacher with the vision to develop confident performers and lead an ambitious programme of productions?

A creative academy in Colchester is seeking a Drama Teacher who can combine excellent classroom teaching with a passion for performance. The school is committed to the arts and offers students extensive opportunities to develop confidence, imagination and communication skills.

The Role

  • Drama Teaching: Deliver practical and theoretical lessons across KS3, GCSE and A-Level.

  • Production Leadership: Direct school performances and support student-led productions.

  • Performance Skills: Develop voice, movement, characterisation and ensemble work.

  • Assessment: Prepare students for practical examinations and written components.

  • Arts Enrichment: Coordinate workshops, theatre visits and creative projects.

The Candidate

  • Relevant Degree: A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies or Performing Arts.
