Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver inspiring, well-structured RE lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Bring the subject to life — from world religions and ethics to philosophy and contemporary moral issues — in ways that challenge and engage every learner.
Create an inclusive classroom where students of all backgrounds feel able to explore and discuss ideas openly.
Assess, track, and support student progress, using data to shape your teaching.
Contribute to the wider life of the department and the school community.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
Requirements
A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
The ability (or readiness) to teach RE at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Genuine passion, drive, and a commitment to helping young people succeed.
