The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Art & Design Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Oxford.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.
Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your schedule.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Art & Design Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to refine technical skills and analyze visual culture.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Art & Design lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Artistic Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of techniques, historical contexts, fine art media, and design principles.
Creative Guidance: Encourage students to experiment safely with drawing, painting, printmaking, and 3D media.
Portfolio & Critique: Create opportunities for students to discuss visual ideas, evaluate artwork, and develop personal projects.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and purposeful studio learning environment.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized equivalent where applicable.

A confident and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.
