The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Music Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Reading.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.
Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your schedule.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to develop their performance skills, composition, and musical appreciation.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Music lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Musical Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of key musical concepts, notation, genres, and composition techniques.
Practical Guidance: Encourage students to evaluate performance techniques and participate confidently in practical workshops.
Creative Expression: Create opportunities for students to explore instruments, vocal skills, and digital software where applicable.
Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment in practical performance spaces.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized equivalent where applicable.
