The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Food Technology Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Sutton.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments may include individual cover days or short blocks, providing flexibility while allowing you to continue supporting students' practical and theoretical learning.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' practical skills, creativity and understanding of food.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Food Technology lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Practical Skills: Support students with food preparation, cooking techniques, ingredients and the development of practical skills.

Nutrition & Understanding: Develop students' knowledge of nutrition, healthy eating, food science and relevant theoretical concepts.

Health & Safety: Ensure practical activities are carried out safely and in accordance with school procedures and appropriate hygiene standards.

Classroom Management: Maintain an organised, positive and purposeful learning environment.
