We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Government & Politics Teacher to register for daily supply work across Wandsworth.

The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Government & Politics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Wandsworth.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining flexibility around your existing commitments.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Government & Politics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to understand political ideas, institutions and contemporary issues.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Government & Politics lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Political Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of political systems, elections, government, democracy and political participation.

Discussion & Debate: Encourage students to consider different viewpoints, discuss contemporary issues and construct well-supported arguments.

Critical Thinking: Help students evaluate political information and distinguish between different perspectives and interpretations.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, respectful and purposeful learning environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• A confident and adaptable approach to teaching.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.

• A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
