You will be joining a supportive and well-organised PE department, teaching students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and helping them develop their physical skills, confidence and understanding of sport.
The successful Girls' PE Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging and inclusive practical lessons across a range of sports. You should be able to motivate students of different abilities and create a positive environment where pupils feel encouraged to participate, improve and challenge themselves.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the wider sporting life of the school through extracurricular clubs, fixtures, competitions and school sporting events. GCSE PE teaching experience would be an advantage, particularly for candidates who are confident delivering both practical and theoretical elements of the course.

Girls' PE Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
PE, Sport or related degree
QTS or recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching PE at secondary level
Experience teaching girls' PE would be advantageous
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4
GCSE PE experience desirable
Strong practical knowledge across a range of sports
Confident classroom and behaviour management
Ability to motivate students of different abilities
Strong organisational skills
Good communication skills
Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
Willingness to support extracurricular activities and school sport
Salary
The salary for this Girls' PE Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
