Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sociology Teacher to join a successful secondary school and sixth-form provision in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Sociology and enjoys encouraging students to question, analyse and understand the society around them.
The successful Sociology Teacher will be expected to teach across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' knowledge, evaluation and essay-writing skills. You will become part of a collaborative Social Sciences department with high expectations and a strong commitment to student achievement.

Experience and Qualifications
Sociology Teacher able to teach KS4 and KS5
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of relevant examination specifications
Relevant degree and formal teaching qualification with QTS
Ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience teaching GCSE and/or A Level Sociology desirable
Commitment to high standards of teaching and student progress
