We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Economics Teacher to register for daily supply work across Merton.

The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Economics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Merton.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.
Assignments may range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining flexibility around your existing commitments.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Economics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to understand economic principles and apply them to real-world situations.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and well-structured Economics lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Economic Analysis: Support students in understanding markets, supply and demand, government policy, inflation, employment and other relevant economic concepts.
Critical Thinking: Encourage students to analyse data, evaluate economic arguments and develop well-supported conclusions.
Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment.
Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.
