The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, developing students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

You will plan lessons that provide students with regular opportunities to use French in meaningful situations. The school is looking for a teacher who can make language learning engaging while ensuring students develop the grammar, vocabulary and communication skills required for GCSE.

You will work with students of varying abilities and should be confident adapting lessons to provide additional support or challenge. GCSE French experience is desirable, particularly for candidates who have experience preparing students for examinations.

The role will also involve marking, assessment, curriculum planning and participation in departmental meetings. The successful candidate may also be encouraged to support extracurricular language activities or cultural enrichment.
