Responsibilities

• Preparing apparatus, chemicals and materials for lessons.

• Setting up and clearing away practical activities.

• Maintaining laboratory equipment and stock levels.

• Supporting teachers and students during experiments.

• Ensuring safe handling and storage of chemicals.

• Maintaining clean, safe and well-organised laboratories.

Requirements

• Science qualification or relevant practical experience.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Previous technician experience is desirable but not essential.
