About the Role

The successful Chemistry Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and support students of different abilities. You will be expected to contribute positively to the wider Science Department and play an active role in supporting students' academic progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons

• Teaching effectively across KS3, KS4 and KS5

• Preparing students thoroughly for examinations

• Assessing and monitoring student progress

• Creating a positive and purposeful classroom environment

• Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry

• Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level

• Ability to teach effectively through KS3 to KS5

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A genuine passion for inspiring students in Science
