Role Overview

An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton is seeking a dedicated and talented Maths Teacher to join its vibrant Mathematics department. This full-time, permanent position involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to contribute to A-Level provision for suitably qualified candidates.

The role is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners looking for a supportive environment to advance their teaching career. You will join a collaborative faculty focused on building numerical confidence, problem-solving abilities, and academic engagement across all key stages.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Qualifications: Relevant degree in Mathematics (or a related discipline) alongside QTS or PGCE.

  • Skills: Excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom presence, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of learning and behavior.
