The successful candidate will teach engaging and challenging Biology lessons, helping students to develop a secure understanding of scientific concepts while encouraging curiosity and independent thinking.

Biology Teacher - Experience and Qualifications

• Biology or a closely related Science degree

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science/Biology

• KS5 experience would be advantageous

• Strong classroom management skills

• A genuine commitment to student progress and achievement

Salary

The salary for this Biology Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
