The Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Cambridge.
The successful candidate will teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5 and contribute to the continued development of a thriving Social Sciences department.
You will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to explore sociological theories, research methods and contemporary social issues.
The school is looking for a teacher who can encourage debate, discussion and critical thinking while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement.
You will be responsible for lesson planning, assessment, progress tracking and examination preparation, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the department.

Experience & Qualifications
Qualified Sociology Teacher with QTS
Ability to teach Sociology at KS4 and KS5
Strong knowledge of Sociology and research methods
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to encourage debate and critical thinking
Strong assessment and curriculum planning skills
Legal ability to work within the UK
