The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Chelmsford.
The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 and play an important role in developing pupils' confidence, creativity and practical musical skills.
The ideal candidate will be confident teaching both practical and theoretical elements of Music and will be able to engage pupils with a variety of musical interests and abilities.
You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress and contribute to the continued development of the Music curriculum.
There may also be opportunities to support concerts, ensembles, performances and other extracurricular musical activities.

Experience & Qualifications
Qualified Music Teacher with QTS
Ability to teach Music at KS3 and KS4
Strong practical and theoretical Music knowledge
Experience supporting extracurricular Music would be advantageous
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to inspire pupils of different abilities
Legal ability to work in the UK
