A supportive secondary school in Liverpool is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join its Design and Technology department on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start. About the Role
The successful Food Technology Teacher will deliver well-planned lessons across KS3 to KS5, with a strong focus on practical skills, food preparation, nutrition and the wider principles of Food Technology.
You will be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Teach Food Technology across the relevant key stages
Develop students' creativity, independence and practical skills
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom safety
Support students in achieving strong academic and practical outcomes
Contribute positively to the wider Design and Technology department

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Food Technology
Experience teaching at secondary level
Excellent classroom management skills

Strong organisational and communication skills
Salary
The successful candidate will be paid in line with the relevant teacher pay scale, depending on experience and qualifications.
