Our client is seeking an imaginative and dedicated Art Teacher to join a successful secondary school near Stevenage. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that inspire students to develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art Teacher who enjoys creating varied and engaging lessons and encouraging students to experiment with different media and techniques. The successful applicant will help students develop their ability to research, design, create and critically evaluate their own work.

The Role
The successful Art Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Planning creative and differentiated activities for students of varying abilities.
Developing students' skills across drawing, painting, design and other artistic media.
Encouraging students to experiment, evaluate and develop their own creative ideas.
Preparing GCSE students for coursework and examinations where required.
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Supporting displays, exhibitions and wider creative opportunities across the school.
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development.
Maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
Experience and Qualifications
Art Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge across Art and Design.
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
Creative and engaging approach to lesson planning.
Experience teaching GCSE Art would be advantageous.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
