Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher to join a successful secondary school near Norwich. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Biology across KS4 and KS5, with the ability to contribute to general Science at KS3.
The school is seeking a teacher who can bring Biology to life through engaging lessons, practical activities and real-world applications. You will be expected to develop students' understanding of biological processes while helping them build the analytical and evaluative skills needed for examination success.
The successful candidate will join a well-established Science department with experienced colleagues, strong curriculum resources and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

The Role
The successful Biology Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging Biology lessons across KS4 and KS5.
Contributing to KS3 Science teaching where required.
Planning practical activities and investigations to reinforce biological concepts.
Developing students' knowledge of biological processes, theories and applications.
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Monitoring student progress through regular assessment.
Identifying gaps in knowledge and providing targeted intervention.
Providing constructive feedback to strengthen examination technique.
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development.
Experience and Qualifications
Biology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.
Strong subject knowledge across Biology.
Ability to teach general Science at KS3.
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Biology would be advantageous.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
