Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a successful secondary school near Watford. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Physics across KS4 and KS5, with some responsibility for delivering Science at KS3 depending on experience.

The Role
The successful Physics Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
Teaching Science at KS3 where required.
Planning practical investigations that reinforce theoretical understanding.
Developing students' analytical, mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Using assessment data to monitor progress and identify areas for intervention.
Providing detailed feedback to improve student understanding and examination technique.
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development.
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and academic achievement.
Experience and Qualifications
Physics Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.
Strong knowledge of the relevant GCSE and A-Level specifications.
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
Strong practical and theoretical Physics knowledge.
Experience preparing students for examinations would be advantageous.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
