Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school near King's Lynn as soon as possible. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their theoretical knowledge, practical musicianship and confidence as performers.
The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy and creativity to the classroom and encourage students to develop a genuine enthusiasm for Music. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative department with opportunities to contribute to performances, ensembles and wider extracurricular activities.

The Role
The successful Music Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Developing students' performance, composition, listening and theoretical skills.
Planning practical lessons that encourage active participation and creativity.
Preparing students effectively for GCSE Music where appropriate.
Supporting school concerts, choirs, ensembles and extracurricular activities.
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Encouraging students to develop confidence through practical music-making.
Maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
Experience and Qualifications
Music Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
GCSE Music teaching experience would be advantageous.
Strong practical and theoretical musical knowledge.
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
Ability to contribute to extracurricular music provision.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
