Our client is currently looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a successful secondary school near Luton as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and subject expertise.

The Role
The successful Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teaching KS5 Chemistry where appropriate to experience.
Planning practical investigations and activities to strengthen scientific understanding.
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Assessing student progress and identifying gaps in knowledge.
Providing targeted support and constructive feedback.
Contributing to departmental curriculum planning and development.
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and academic progress.
Experience and Qualifications
Chemistry Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
Ability to teach KS5 Chemistry would be advantageous.
Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory experience.
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to student progress and achievement.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
