A large secondary academy in Basildon is seeking an English Teacher to provide maternity cover. The school serves pupils aged 11–16 and has a strong focus on literacy, academic progress and student development. You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3–KS4 and help prepare students for GCSE examinations. The successful applicant should have excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management and a genuine passion for helping students become confident readers and writers.
