Our client is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Business Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Peterborough on an ASAP basis. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Business across KS4 and KS5, delivering lessons that develop students' understanding of business theory and its application to real-world organisations.

The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students to engage with contemporary business issues and develop the analytical, evaluative and communication skills required for examination success.

The Role

The successful Business Teacher will be responsible for:

• Teaching Business across KS4 and KS5.

• Planning engaging lessons using contemporary business examples and case studies.

• Developing students' analytical, evaluative and extended-writing skills.

• Preparing learners effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Monitoring attainment and using assessment information to inform future teaching.

• Providing detailed feedback and targeted intervention where required.

• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development.

• Encouraging independent learning and confident classroom discussion.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice.

Experience and Qualifications

• Business Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.

• Strong subject knowledge across the Business curriculum.

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.

• Experience preparing students for examinations is desirable.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to connect business theory to real-world examples.

• Legal ability to work within the UK.
