The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Biology Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Merton.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks of work, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining flexibility around your existing commitments.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' scientific understanding and curiosity.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Biology lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Scientific Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of topics such as cells, genetics, ecology, evolution and human biology.

Practical Work: Where required, support practical investigations and experiments while following appropriate laboratory health and safety procedures.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.
