The successful candidate will be expected to teach Business and Economics across KS4 and KS5, with the exact teaching timetable dependent on experience and subject specialism.

The Role
The successful Business & Economics Teacher will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging and well-structured Business and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
Planning lessons that develop students' knowledge, analytical skills and ability to apply theory to real-world scenarios.
Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations through targeted exam practice and revision.
Monitoring student progress and using assessment data to identify areas for development.
Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their written responses and examination technique.
Encouraging students to develop independent learning, critical thinking and evaluation skills.
Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development and wider school initiatives.
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, effort and academic achievement.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and effective teaching practice.
Experience and Qualifications
Business & Economics Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.
Strong subject knowledge across Business and/or Economics.
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, is required.
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Business or Economics would be highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of examination requirements and assessment objectives.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons that connect theory with contemporary business and economic issues.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to supporting student progress and academic achievement.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
