A friendly and established Primary School in Ipswich is looking for an organised and personable School Administrator to join its busy school office.
This position would suit an administrator who enjoys working with people, takes pride in accurate work and can remain organised when the school day becomes busy. You will provide essential administrative support to the school while acting as a professional point of contact for families and visitors.

The School Administrator will have a varied role, with responsibilities ranging from answering enquiries and maintaining records to supporting school events and general office administration.
You will regularly communicate with parents and carers, both by telephone and email and in person. You will need to provide helpful information while understanding when a query needs to be passed to a teacher, senior leader or another member of staff.
Maintaining accurate pupil information will also be an important responsibility. You will update databases, process forms, maintain records and ensure that information is stored appropriately.
You may also assist with attendance, admissions, trips, meetings and other administrative processes. The school therefore needs someone who is flexible and willing to support different areas of the office as required.

School Administrator - Experience and Requirements
Previous administrative experience.
Experience working in a school is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong IT skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office.
Experience using databases or administrative systems.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
