The successful School Administrator will have a varied workload and will need to be comfortable moving between different tasks throughout the day.
You will act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors and members of the wider school community. This means answering telephone calls, responding to emails and dealing with enquiries in a professional and helpful manner.
You will also support the administration of student records, ensuring information is accurate and updated promptly. This may include maintaining databases, processing forms, preparing documentation and supporting attendance or admissions processes.
The role requires excellent organisation. You may have several tasks to manage at once, particularly during busy periods of the school year. You will need to understand priorities, meet deadlines and ensure important tasks are not overlooked.
You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, senior leaders and other members of the administrative team. Good communication and the ability to build positive working relationships will therefore be important.
