A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Derby. The school is looking for an inspiring teacher who can encourage students to develop their artistic skills, confidence and creativity through an engaging and ambitious curriculum. This is a full-time position with an ASAP start and would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT.

About the Role

The successful Art Teacher will teach Art across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering well-planned lessons that allow students to explore a wide range of artistic techniques, media and creative processes.

You will encourage students to develop their own artistic identity while building strong technical and analytical skills. The role will involve supporting students through coursework and examination preparation, as well as contributing to the wider creative life of the school.

Salary

The salary for this Art Teacher position will be paid in line with the relevant teacher pay scale, depending on experience.
